James began his career in advertising research, honing his qualitative skills working on TV campaigns for the likes of easyJet, The Armed Forces and Shell.

He joined jump! London three years ago and in that time has worked on everything from food and drink innovation to brand positioning and communications development across FMCG, gaming and both hard and soft drinks. He has moderated in Europe and beyond to unpick cultural nuances and explore reactions to new ideas.

In his spare time, James can often be found in the cinema where he’ll watch his fair share of films so bad that they’re good. Otherwise, he likes getting out to new restaurants, watching rugby of any level and failing to master card magic.
